With more than 25 years in the process industry working with international project sales and sales steering in the management team, as well as actual project execution as supplier, I have found more interest in the in the industry itself, and need for my knowledge and services at manufacturers to optimize their process or scale-up production of new products. Hence I’m now focusing on supporting manufacturers or start-ups with process optimization, feasability studies, defining investment needs, specification of tender materials, purchasing, contractual negotiations and the actual project execution and start-up. My expertise knowledge is mainly within the concentration and drying of various food and dairy products but also the upstream mixing, separation, membrane filtration, refining as well as downstream powder handling and packaging. I have participated in numerous pilot trials and advised customers how to scale up each process step of a new product from their lab-scale development, as well as started up new plants to achieve the foreseen qualities and capacities.
From 2025 I’m working as consultant for the Food, Beverage, Brewery, Dairy and Pharmaceutical industries or wherever the technologies I have expertise in are applied – can also be Chemical process, Pulp and Paper, Biorefinery, Metals and Minerals. Working with several technologies within GEA as well as the wide portfolio of Christian Berner as agent I have a vast knowledge of European suppliers of equipment and technologies, as well as understanding of how they are applied and how liquid and powder products can be produced with the best quality, shelf-life and yield.
